Patna: Former Bihar Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav will soon be making a foray into Bollywood in a film titled “Rudra: The Avatar”.



Patna: Former Bihar Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav will soon be making a foray into Bollywood in a film titled “Rudra: The Avatar”. The 29-year-old ex-minister, who is the elder son of former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav, shared the poster of the film on Twitter. This will not be Yadav’s first stint before the camera as earlier he played the role of Bihar CM in a 2016 Bhojpuri film, “Apaharan Udyog”. PTI

Kolkata: Eminent danseuse and choreographer Amala Shankar turned 99 on Wednesday and her family has decided to make the occasion memorable with an exhibition on her photographs and paintings. A film, starring Amala Shankar and her husband and classical dancer Uday Shankar will also be screened. The 1948 Hindi film "Kalpana", directed by Uday Shankar, revolves around a young dancer's dream of setting up a dance academy. PTI

Mumbai: Dia Mirza bid for and bought an original six-sheet poster of the landmark 1957 film “Mother India” — depicting the iconic Nargis Dutt — for Rs 145,000 in an auction. The actress, who features in a pivotal role in “Sanju”, a movie on Sanjay Dutt’s life, wants to gift it to the star. Actor Anil Kapoor got his hands on the iconic first release three-sheet poster of “Mughal-e-Azam” for Rs 210,000. IANS
