Sedition: Hardik’s petition rejected

Ahmedabad: A sessions court here on Wednesday rejected Patidar leader Hardik Patel’s plea for discharging him in the sedition case. Hardik in his application stated that there was no evidence to prove his involvement in violence after a rally in Ahmedabad following the launch of the Patel quota stir in 2015. The court, however, accepted the prosecution’s plea that there was material evidence against Hardik. OC
