‘Sarbat da Bhala’ Express from today

JALANDHAR: The Ministry of Railways has decided to rename the New Delhi-Lohian Khas-New Delhi Intercity Express as “Sarbat da Bhala Express”.

The Ministry of Railways has decided to rename the New Delhi-Lohian Khas-New Delhi Intercity Express as “Sarbat da Bhala Express”. The train has been planned especially ahead of the 550th Parkash Purb celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev. It will be arriving at Sultanpur Lodhi for the first time on Friday.

Union Food Processing Industries Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal today thanked Union Minister Railway Minister Piyush Goyal for the gesture. The train will be reportedly flagged off by Harsimrat Kaur from New Delhi Railway Station on Friday at 6.30 am.

The train would reach Sultanpur Lodhi at 2.38 pm the same day where it would be accorded a traditional welcome. Union Minister of State for Railways Suresh C Angadi and Punjab ministers OP Soni and Charanjit Channi too would be present as the train starts back to Delhi in the evening.
