Channi in UK, invites Punjabis for Gurpurb

CHANDIGARH: Cultural Affairs Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Wednesday reached the UK to invite the ‘Nanak Naam Leva Sangat’ to take part in the celebrations for the 550th Parkash Purb of Guru Nanak.

Cultural Affairs Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Wednesday reached the UK to invite the ‘Nanak Naam Leva Sangat’ to take part in the celebrations for the 550th Parkash Purb of Guru Nanak.

Channi briefed prominent Punjabis of the events being organised at Sultanpur Lodhi from November 1 to 12. He extended them an open invite on behalf of the CM.

Organiser of the meeting Peter Virdhi said the Virdhi Foundation would contribute 500 million pounds for the celebrations in Pakistan. — TNS
