Entry to waterworks complex banned

Muktsar: Using the powers under Section 144 of the CrPC, the Deputy Commissioner on Thursday banned the entry of public into the waterworks complex located on the Kotkapura road here. Sumeet Jarangal, Deputy Commissioner, Muktsar, said from the past few months, some unidentified persons were circulating some letters threatening that they had mixed poison in the reservoir. “Thus the cleaning of reservoir is underway and the entry of public without permission is banned till August 18,” he said.
