CHANDIGARH: Former Union Minister of State for External Affairs and current Member of Parliament from Patiala, Preneet Kaur on Saturday suffered an injury resulting from a fall.

Chandigarh, June 2

Former Union Minister of State for External Affairs and current Member of Parliament from Patiala, Preneet Kaur on Saturday suffered an injury resulting from a fall.

She was rushed to the hospital, where she was treated for the injuries and subsequently discharged today.

The incident occurred in Delhi after her return from the meeting of the Congress Parliamentary Committee.

Revealing this today, an official spokesman of the government said doctors attending to her have advised complete rest for the next 10 days. As a result she will not be taking visitors or telephonic calls during this period.
