CHANDIGARH: Punjab and Haryana High Court Chief Justice, Justice Krishna Murari, on Friday administered the oath of office to two additional judges.

Judges Lalit Batra and Arun Kumar Tyagi were administered oath at a simple but impressive ceremony attended by sitting and retired judges of the high court, bureaucrats, advocates and relatives.

Punjab and Haryana High Court Chief Justice, Justice Krishna Murari, on Friday administered the oath of office to two additional judges.

Judges Lalit Batra and Arun Kumar Tyagi were administered oath at a simple but impressive ceremony attended by sitting and retired judges of the high court, bureaucrats, advocates and relatives.

Judge Tyagi was posted as the registrar-general in the Punjab and Haryana high court, while Judge Batra was posted as the district and sessions judge in Sonepat before elevation.
