State Cooperation Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on Wednesday took the RTI route seeking official correspondence on the inclusion of names of former CM Parkash Singh Badal and former Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal on the inaugural plaque of the Kartarpur corridor.

The minister sought information as to how the names of Badals were put on the plaque. Besides seeking the name of the officer incharge of the inaugural ceremony, the minister has sought details of the protocol rules that define the dignitaries.

He alleged that the Centre was more concerned about the Badals than rights of Punjab. He said, “The lip service paid by the SAD towards the federal structure stands exposed.”
