Lausanne: The north Indian city of Chandigarh will host the first International Hockey Federation (FIH) Awards ceremony on February 23 to honour the best players, goalkeepers, rising stars, coaches and umpires.

The north Indian city of Chandigarh will host the first  International Hockey Federation (FIH) Awards ceremony on February 23 to honour the best players, goalkeepers, rising stars, coaches and umpires. "Although the FIH Hockey Stars Awards have been presented for a number of years, this first awards ceremony marks a key milestone,” read a statement from FIH. — IANS
