BUDGET SESSION FROM TODAY

From Our-Special Correspondent
CHANDIGARH, February 21-The Budget session of the Punjab Legislature which commences tomorrow, is likely to have a stormy start. The United Front Opposition contemplates to boycott the inauguration of the session by the Governor to protest against the "Illegal minority Gill Government". The other reason for the proposed boycott, according to a Front spokesman, are that "the Government has turned Punjab into a police State and is fabricating cases to victimise political opponents". The proposal will be considered by the Front at its meeting tomorrow before a final decision is taken.
