The Hon’ble Mr. Jinnah

A NOTIFICATION in the Gazette of India announced that Mr. A.A. Jinnah has been duly elected a member of the Imperial Legislative Council. Certain allegations were made regarding his election, into which an inquiry was held extending over several months. The notification of the election, therefore, means that the election petition lodged with the Government has been dismissed, and the allegations have been held not to have been substantiated. We congratulate Mr. Jinnah, who is a sturdy patriot and indefatigable public worker.
