3 children critically injured in bomb blast in Pak’s KP province

PESHAWAR: Three minor girls were critically injured on Monday after a bomb, which they picked up from a nearby field thinking it to be a toy and were playing with, exploded in restive northwest Pakistan, police said.

Three minor girls were critically injured on Monday after a bomb, which they picked up from a nearby field thinking it to be a toy and were playing with, exploded in restive northwest Pakistan, police said.

The incident occurred at Shaikh Landidak area of Bannu district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, they said.

The children had brought the toy bomb to their home from a nearby field and were playing with it when it went off, police said, adding that the injured were admitted to a hospital. — PTI
