Ola rolls out vehicle commerce platform

Ride-hailing platform Ola on Thursday announced the launch of its vehicle commerce platform that will enable customers to buy new and pre-owned vehicles through the Ola app. The company is also looking at scaling the reach of the platform — Ola Cars — to 100 cities by the next year. PTI

Blackstone buys 75% stake in VFS Global for $1.87 bn
US private equity player Blackstone is acquiring a 75% stake in VFS Global for $1.87 billion (about Rs 13,975 crore), valuing the visa services firm at $2.5 billion. VSF was launched as a ‘side project’ at the luxury Swiss travel group Kuoni in 2001 and now operates across 147 countries. PTI
