Mohali, December 22
As many as 1,552 students from various streams were awarded degrees for the academic year 2020-21 during the annual convocation of Chandigarh University, Gharuan.
Thirty meritorious students, including 18 graduate and 12 postgraduate students, were awarded gold medals while 28 students were given PhD degrees by the in charge of External Affairs Department, Dr Vijay Chauthaiwale, and a Padma Shri recipient, Dr Neelam Mansingh Chaudhary. Dr Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chancellor, congratulated the students and wished them luck for their future endeavours. — TNS
