Chandigarh, May 11

Carmel Convent School, Chandigarh, has inaugurated iDAAN ( I Donate and Alleviate the Needy) website. The initiative was started by the school Principal Sr Supreeta, NSS programme officer Preeti Swami and Dr Dinesh Pal.

The concept is the unique idea of NSS volunteer Neha Pal and has been designed with a purpose to provide a web-based platform for integrating and coordinating activities related to donation and fill the gap between the donor and the needy. The donor can get involved and donate by entering the list of items they want to donate, and contact details. Updates of every event will also be uploaded on the website. — TNS
