Chandigarh, November 15

A large number of Congress workers led by former Union Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal and Chandigarh Congress president Pradeep Chhabra today held a protest against the policies of the BJP government.

The protesters, who were going to meet the Deputy Commissioner, were stopped at Sector 17 and detained. They were later released.

Bansal said the economy was in a bad state due to recession. Chhabra said instead of improving the economy, the Modi government was spying people through WhatsApp. Also, the Finance Minister did not know anything about the financial situation of the country, he added.  — TNS
