‘Highlight issues of public interest’

Tribune News Service

Mohali, February 24

The Mohali Administration is jotting down the major challenges being faced by the district to find a sustainable solution to these.

“Our officers are on the job, but public participation on the issue is a must. People have a right to flag their concerns,” said Girish Dayalan, Deputy Commissioner. He said people might mail their suggestions at [email protected]

Talking on the nature of issues that people might offer suggestions on, the Deputy Commissioner said the challenges or problems that people wished to highlight must not be of personal nature, but of larger public interest. The suggestions could incorporate immediate issues or those that might in the long term have utility to public.
