Mohali DC visits Kurali grain market to oversee procurement

On the first day of the commencement of the procurement operations, Mohali Deputy Commissioner Isha Kalia today visited the New Grain Market, Kurali, to review the arrangements made for paddy procurement.

Isha said the district administration was committed for ensuring smooth and hassle-free paddy procurement in the ongoing season to facilitate the farmers. The administration would lift every single grain of paddy during the ongoing marketing season. She said farmers would not face any sort of problem while selling their produce.

Isha said all Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) and chiefs of all procurement agencies had been asked to personally supervise the procurement operations. — TNS
