A fine century by Mrigank (109) helped Kurukshetra beat Panchkula by four wickets in the Samuel Banerjee Trophy Triangular Cricket Tournament at the Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 19, here today.
Electing to bat, Panchkula posted 221 runs in 39.4 overs. Aryan Verma (40) was the top-scorer, while Arun Jaglan (34) and Sagar Sharma (28) were the other notable scorers. For Kurukshetra, Mrigank and Devesh claimed two wickets each.
In reply, Kurukshetra achieved the target in 47.2 overs. Mrigank scored 109 runs off 128 balls, with seven boundaries and two sixes, while Abhishek Kaushik posted 27 off 49 balls. For Panchkula, Sagar Sharma took three wickets
