MOHALI: Some miscreants committed theft at a gurdwara at Mauli Baidwan village here on Monday night.

Mohali, April 30

Some miscreants committed theft at a gurdwara at Mauli Baidwan village here on Monday night. According to the gurdwara management, the miscreants took away money after breaking open the donation box.

According to the police, the thieves entered the gurdwara hall from a window after breaking its iron grill. “They took away the donation box and broke it. After taking money from it, the miscreants threw it near the gurdwara,” said the police. CCTV cameras installed in the gurdwara were found non-functional for the past few days, said the police. — TNS
