ADC, SDM inspect I-Day function preparations

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development} Sakhi Sahwney and SDM Balwinder Singh on Friday inspected the preparations going on for the Independence Day function.

During which various presented PT show, cultural performances in which St Joseph senior secondary school presented items based on the Tandarust Punjab Mission, while RBDAV Public school presented choreography based on parents respect.

MSD School presented item based on real hero of India Army. Clay India International School Sangat presented item based on theme save water, save tree. Cambridge Global School Bathinda presented chorography based on unity.

Government senior secondary school Mall road, Baba Farid school, MHR School, Sri Guru Harkrishan Public school students headed by Pawanjeet Kaur presented gidda, while students of Government senior secondary school Paras Ram Nagar, Senior secondary Desraj School, Baba Farid school, Dasmesh senior secondary school and Khalsa senior secondary school presented bhangra. MSD School students also presented PT band.

Gurpreet Singh AEO (SPORTS), Kulwinder Singh assistant director (youth services) were present at the spot. Gurpreet Singh said around 3,500 students and 200 teachers are working hard to make the Independence Day event a great success.
