Four injured in hit-&-run cases, admitted to PGI

CHANDIGARH: Three persons riding two-wheelers were injured in two separate road accidents in the city.

Three persons riding two-wheelers were injured in two separate road accidents in the city.

According to the police, the complainant, Bhoop Singh Thakur of Dhanas, reported that an unknown vehicle hit the scooter being driven by his wife Neetu on the road separating Sectors 14 and 15 on October 15.

The victim was seriously injured in the mishap and was admitted to the PGI. A case has been registered at the Sector 11 police station.

In another accident, three persons, who were riding a motorcycle, were injured after an unknown vehicle escaped after hitting the bike on the road separating Sectors 52 and 53 on October 15.

The victims, identified as Rahul, Vinod and Mukesh, were injured and admitted to the PGI.

A case against the unknown car driver has been registered at the Sector 36 police station. The police have initiated an investigation into it.
