Panchkula: With 44 new cases in the past 24 hours, Panchkula’s Covid-19 tally went up to 10,927 on Thursday, according to figures released by the state Health Department. This is the highest single-day jump since December 17 when 50 cases were reported. Among the new cases, 11 cases were reported from a particular unit in the Industrial Area. The Covid toll remained at 149. The recovery rate stands at 97.15 per cent. —TNS
