93.31% clear board exams, while boys pass percentage stands at 90.14

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results of the Class X examinations on Wednesday with girls faring better than boys yet again. This year, a total of 93.31 per cent girls passed while the pass percentage of boys stands at 90.14. Himachal falls under the Panchkula zone, which is ranked sixth with 94.31 per cent.

Kendriya Vidyalayas remained on the top with a pass percentage of 99.23, followed by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV) 98.66, Central Tibetan Schools Administration (CTSA) 93.67, independent schools 92.81, government schools 80.91, and government-aided schools 77.82.

MCM DAV School, Nurpur: Aryan Dhrabial (99%) first; Adhya Sharma (97%) second; Nikita Sharma, Parth Sauguny, Saksham Salaria and Dhruv Sharma (96.80%) joint third.

Loreto Convent School, Tara Hall, Shimla: Ojasvi Kesta (98.8%) first; Tanvi Utreja (97%) second; Vanshika Ahluwalia (96.6%) third.

Dayanand Public School, Shimla: Saloni Mehta (98.6%) first; Nitikesh Sharma (98.2%) second; Saransh Sood and Anirudh (97.8%) third.

Convent of Jesus and Mary, Chelsea: Vaani Prashar (98.8%) first; Hiya Sharma (98.4%) second; Shivanshi Verma (97.4%) third. All 116 students

of the school cleared the examinations and 43 secured more than

90 per cent.

St Edward's School, Shimla: Kanishk Chanjta (98.2%) first; Harshaditya Sharma and Shivansh Sood (95.8%) second; MD Isfarul Haque (95%) third.

Bishop Cotton School, Shimla: Udit Jain and Saksham Virmani (93.6%) first; Shreeyansh Thakur (92.8%) second; Madhav Kalra (92.4%) third.

DAV Public School, New Shimla: Hemjha Sutam Kaul (97.8%) first; Shivang Nagta (97%) second; Palak Sharma and Garima Nepta (96.8%) third.

DAV Senior Secondary School, Lakkar Bazaar, Shimla: Nandini Choudhary (98.6%) first; Meenal Verma (97.4%) second; Sonakshi Dadwal and Bhavya Sharma (96.80%) third. All 131 students of the school cleared the examinations.

The Lawrence School, Sanawar: Noopur Sharma (98.4%) first; Simar Singh Gabadia (96.8%) second; Harshangad Singh (96.60%) third.

Pinegrove School, Dharampur: Lavya Bhasin and Anoushka (97.2%) first; Manraj Singh Anand (96.2%) second; Shreya Bansal and Pranav Garg (96%) third.

Laureate Public School: Diksha Chauhan and Ankit Kumar (93.2%) first; Raman Raj (90.6%) second; Arjit Chitkara (90%) third.

DAV Centenary Public School, Mandi: Sahil (97.2%) first; Astha (96.8%) second; Akanksha

(96.4%) third.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jakhoo Hills, Shimla: Sonal Bhat (96%) first; Prakriti, Bhargav Dhar and Anshika (91.6%) second; Bhanvi Dhar (90%) third. All 110 students of the school cleared the board exams.

St Luke’s School, Solan: Shivansh Joshi (97.6%) first; Sneha Verma and Prakriti Pal (97.4%) second; Ishita Suri (97%) third.

Army Public School, Dagshai: Aditi Sharma (97%) first; Anirudh Gupta (96.4%) second; Shivam Kumar Jha (96.2%) third. Five students of the school scored above 95 per cent and 13 above 90 per cent.

Indus Global School: Mandarva Malhotra (97.5%) first; Sakshi Sharma (94.8%) second; Barkha Agnihotri and Vanshika Kaur (94.2%) third. As many as 11 out of 58 students of the school scored over 90 per cent.

Aadhunik Public School, Sidhbari: Harshita Thakur (98%) first; Ankita Nanda (97.6%) second; Megha Sharma (97.2%) third.

Coment Mensa Secondary School: Sohana (96.2%) first; Harsh Choudhary (95%) second; Arsh Jaswal (94.8%) third. Eight students scored more than 90 per cent.

Rainbow International School, Nagrota Bagwan: Soham (97%) first; Anshika (96.6%) second; Vanshita (96.4%) third. As many as 30 students have scored 90 per cent marks.

Achiever Hub Public Senior Secondary School, Dari: Supriya Bharmera (98%) first; Rohan Dhiman (94%) second; Pryanshi Chaudhary (92%) third.

DAV Public School, Alampur: Ishita (95.3%) first; Shaina Sharma (95.1%) second; Shivangi Thakur (94.5%) third.
