Need to axe old trees on highway


There are some old trees on the Sadwan-Suliali highway, which could fall any time and lead to loss of life and property. Recently, an old roadside tree collapsed in Palampur, crushing several cars parked under it. The authorities should remove these trees at the earliest to avoid another such incident.

Stray dog menace haunts elderly patients

The number of stray dogs around the Tenzin hospital is increasing day by day. Patients, especially elderly, are at risk as they could fall while avoiding these dogs. The authorities should take some action in this regard.
