SHIMLA:A yellow warning has been issued for Friday and Saturday in Himachal Pradesh, where several areas are receiving heavy rainfall, the meteorological (Met) department said today.

A yellow warning has been issued for Friday and Saturday in Himachal Pradesh, where several areas are receiving heavy rainfall, the meteorological (Met) department said today. 

Several parts of the state  received light to heavy rainfall during the last 24 hours.

Sujanpur Tihra received the highest 110 mm rainfall since Monday evening, followed by Guler 103 mm, Nagrota Suriyan 96 mm, Gohar 69 mm, Dehra Gopipur 67 mm, Mandi 47 mm, Una 34 mm, Palampur 33 mm, Nadaun 32 mm, Jogindernagar 30 mm, Dharamsala 27 mm, Nahan 25 mm and Chamba 21 mm.— PTI
