Srinagar, June 19
Pakistan shelled at Indian posts in Kupwara district’s Tangdhar sector unprovoked, the Indian Army said on Friday evening.
The shelling began on Friday evening and is still ongoing. There no reports of casualties thus far.
Pakistani troopers used mortars and other weapons, the defence spokesperson said.
"Befitting response is being given," the spokesman said.
