Hoshiarpur, December 14
Deshna Mini (12) has won the 22nd International Mental Abacus Competition, held in Malaysia. As many as 6,000 children from 75 countries participated in the competition.
They solved questions of mathematics on abacus. Twelve children from Punjab and three from Hoshiarpur district — Jasmin, Sanchi Rajpal and Deshna — had participated in the tournament. — OC
