An alleged suicide case of 29-year-old Manjot Singh of Jalandhar has come to the fore as his family members while addressing the media alleged that the victim was left with no other option but to take the extreme step due to his wife. The couple got married in 2018.

A maternal uncle of the deceased said: “His wife was cheating on him and had got a PR status after she got married. He could not take this and ended his life on January 23 in Canada,” he said, adding that the body of the deceased was not found yet.

Hence, the family members have requested the Canada police to find the body and take action against his wife. They also requested the Indian Government to approach the Canadian government to act sternly in the matter.
