JALANDHAR: The SAD has decided to hold a protest in Jalandhar on the issue of SC Post-Matric Scholarship on October 22.

Jalandhar, October 18

The SAD has decided to hold a protest in Jalandhar on the issue of SC Post-Matric Scholarship on October 22.

A meeting of the SC wing of the Akali Dal was held at Ambedkar Bhawan in this regard. The meeting was presided over by ex-minister Gulzar Singh Ranike. All SC leaders, including MLAs Pawan Tinu; Baldev Khaira and Sukhwinder Sukhi; participated in the meeting.

The members had earlier ‘gheraoed’ the residence of SC Welfare Minister Sadhu S Dharamsot on the issue. Ex Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal will also participate in the protest.
