Experts discuss quality of education in higher institutes

JAMMU: Tariq College of Education organised a national seminar on quality assurance and enhancement in higher education institutions.



JAMMU, May 14

Tariq College of Education organised a national seminar on quality assurance and enhancement in higher education institutions.

The seminar was organised in collaboration with Council for Teacher Education (CTE ), J&K, wherein delegates and research scholars from Punjab, Himachal, Chennai and J&K participated.

The seminar started with an inaugural session, chaired by Prof Manoj Kumar Dhar, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu (JU).

The keynote speaker for the session was Dr Khushvinder Kumar, principal, MM Modi College, Patiala, who spoke on the topic ‘Challenges in Higher Education’.

In the second session, experts from different fields shared their views on different sub-themes. Dr Kajal Manhas from Department of Education, JU, deliberated on the role of research in higher education. —TNS
