J&K Govt relieves senior IAS officer RK Goyal

JAMMU: The state government today relieved senior IAS officer Raj Kumar Goyal, allowing him to join as Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

The state government today relieved senior IAS officer Raj Kumar Goyal, allowing him to join as Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

Goyal was serving as Principal Secretary of technical education department, floriculture, parks and gardens and information departments in Jammu and Kashmir. He had also served as the Secretary of the Home Department for quite a long time.

Meanwhile, the state government assigned additional charges to four officers. Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, Commissioner-Secretary, Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment, has been asked to hold the charge of Commissioner-Secretary, Information Department, in addition to his duties.

Rigzian Sarnpheal, Commissioner-Secretary, Tourism Department, will hold the charge of Commissioner-Secretary, Department of Floriculture, Parks and Gardens, in addition to his duties.

Pandurang Kondbarao Pole, Secretary, Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, will hold the charge of Secretary, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, in addition to his own duties relieving Saurabh Bhagat, Commissioner-Secretary, Labour and Employment Department of the additional charge of the post.

Zubair Ahmad, a KAS officer, Secretary, Culture Department, will hold the charge of Secretary, Technical Education Department, in addition to his duties, till further orders.
