Srinagar: An overground worker (OGW) of militant group Lashkar-e-Toiba was arrested in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, the police said on Sunday.



Srinagar: An overground worker (OGW) of militant group Lashkar-e-Toiba was arrested in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, the police said on Sunday. The OGW, identified as Idress Ahmad Baba of Asham, Bandipora, was apprehended by the police and marine commandos with arms and ammunition in the fringes of the Wular at Banyari. TNS 

Army man ends life

Srinagar: An Army man shot himself dead in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday morning, police sources said. The soldier was posted in Uri sector and shot himself with his service rifle at Gowhalan, Uri, around 4 am. The slain soldier has been identified as Subbha Roy. TNS
