‘Arpita is my anchor’

Aayush Sharma is getting set for his Bollywood debut with Loveratri, which releases on October 5. This youngster from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh doesn’t disclose his feelings very easily. Calling himself a very patient person, he philosophically says, “Nothing happens before its time and everything falls into place at the right time.” He moved to Mumbai from Delhi to study at Jai Hind College. Soon after completing his graduation, he was introduced to Arpita through a common friend. Love happened, and the rest as they say is history.

Even now, four years later, when you speak of Arpita, Aayush’s eyes have a soft look. Ask him and he says he can go on non-stop with a sheepish grin. He adds, “In these four years there were times when I would feel that maybe I am not cut out to be an actor or maybe I’m not good enough. She has always been there to make sure I don’t lose faith and I give it my best. She would always tell me what happens on a Friday is not in our hands but what happens before the release definitely is, therefore give it your 100 per cent so you have no regrets.”
