Mike Henry, who is known for playing Tarzan in the 1960s, has passed away. He was 84. The actor was reportedly suffering from chronic traumatic encephalopathy and Parkinson’s disease, brought on by the head injuries in the NFL and at the University of Southern California.He traded football for acting and went on to star in the Tarzan films of the 1960s, and worked alongside Burt Reynolds in Smokey and the Bandit. His other movie roles included The Longest Yard, Soylent Green, Rio Lobo and The Green Berets. Henry was also known for TV shows such as General Hospital, Lou Grant, among others.
