The teaser of Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday-starrer Khaali Peeli was released by the makers on Monday. Directed by Maqbool Khan, the film has been produced by Ali Abbas Zafar. The teaser hints that Ishaan and Ananya are involved in some crime and are on the run.
Said Ali Abbas Zafar, “Khaali Peeli is a complete desi entertainer. Ishaan and Ananya’s energetic chemistry and Jaideep’s credibility makes this ride cooler and edgier.” Director Maqbool Khan added, “It’s been a pleasure working with Ishaan and Ananya—two powerhouses who have given fantastic performances. Khaali Peeli is a young, edgy, mad roller-coaster ride that I hope the audiences will enjoy thoroughly.”
The film will reportedly be released on an OTT platform.
