Meet the second generation of Simar

Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka is counted as one of the most iconic shows on television that entertained the audience for seven years. Sasural Simar Ka is now set to return with Season 2. While Dipika Kakar will be back on the show, taking the legacy forward and essaying the role of second-generation Simar will be actor Radhika Muthukumar. A simple yet resilient girl, Simar is the youngest sister living in the shadow of her siblings. She mirrors her family’s values and is compassionate towards everyone.

Speaking about essaying the character, Radhika said, “Seldom you get to play a well-established character that is loved by the viewers and Simar is one of them. The name not only induces nostalgia but also reminds us of some exceptional characters and drama we have witnessed. Simar and Roli’s endearing story is forever etched in people’s mind and with Sasural Simar Ka Season 2, we have set out to introduce another interesting story of the next generation Simar. She is a simple girl who is strongly rooted in her values but ambitious and headstrong. I am looking forward.”
