Here comes a romantic musical drama, West Side Story, which is the second feature-length adaptation of the 1957 stage musical of the same name. It is a musical that revolves around a modern day Romeo and Juliet in New York. On the harsh streets of the upper west side, two gangs battle for control of the turf. The situation becomes complicated when a gang members falls in love with a rival’s sister.
