Ludhiana: All educational institutes and government offices/ boards/ corporations have been asked to remain shut on August 17, as a mark of respect to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who died on Thursday, an official statement released by the office of the Chief Secretary to Government of Punjab said.



Ludhiana: All educational institutes and government offices/ boards/ corporations have been asked to remain shut on August 17, as a mark of respect to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who died on Thursday, an official statement released by the office of the Chief Secretary to Government of Punjab said. The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has also cancelled the supplementary exam for Classes X and XII which were scheduled for August 17. The exam date and timings would be released by the board later. This year, the centre for the supplementary exam in Ludhiana is at Government Senior Secondary School, Cemetery Road. Besides, academic competitions organised by the Board every year stands cancelled for August 17, 18 and 19. The dates would be decided later. TNS
