Christmas celebrations begin at CMCH

LUDHIANA: Christian Medical College and Hospital (CHCH) began with Christmas carol services from December 6.

Christian Medical College and Hospital (CHCH) began with Christmas carol services from December 6.

Multiple activities were organised for staff and students of the college. From December 6 to 8, Christmas carol service were oranised for students, faculty, guest and alumni in the Lady Willingdon Assembly Hall.

Two choirs, senior choir comprising 23 faculty members of various constituent colleges and a junior choir comprising 63 members of five colleges of the institution led the choir singing. Two choreographies, a kid’s choreography on a medley of Hindi and English songs and a students’ choreography depicting the story of nativity through hand mime in ultraviolet light, were also organised.

On December 8, CMCH had Christmas campfire at Children’s Park in the faculty campus of CMC. Choirs and choreography groups of various churches participated in the campfire. Principal of CMC appreciated the efforts put in the staff and students to make the celebrations a success.
