Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town, organised an interactive session on “Importance of Skill and Financial Independence in New India” for the students of Class XII. The resource persons were Tanu Vohra and Dr Amrit Khosla from Oyster Institute of Beauty and Wellness. They focused on the importance of skill enhancement among today’s youth. They apprised the students of the novel vocations available to them. They also introduced the concept of “digital nomad visa”.

Anika Rana (Class IV) and Arpit Kapoor (Class IX) of DAV Public School, BRS Nagar, having qualified for Stage 2 of the “Raman Young Science Innovator Award”, have now got selected to participate in the national final, to be held in February at Panchvati, Bangalore, the old house of CV Raman. Raman Young Science Innovator Award (RYSI) is a national science award instituted by the Raman Research Institute (RRI) and Innovation and Science Promotion foundation (ISPF) and is sponsored by ThinkTac for classes III-X schoolchildren. Around 5,000 students from all over the country participate in this competition every year.
Meritorious SChool
The Institute of Cost Accountants of India announced the result of CMA wherein four students of Meritorious School — Aman Pandey, Kashish, Amandeep Kaur and Muskan Garg — cleared the exam in their first attempt. On this occasion, Principal Vishwakirat Kahlon congratulated the students and teachers, expressing special gratitude to Jagdish Sharma, who provided coaching for CMA in the school.
Ryan international school
The students of Class X and XII of Ryan International School, Ludhiana, Jamalpur and Dugri branches, who would pass school soon, were bid farewell at the Jamalpur branch. Commerce students of Kundan Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School engaged in a workshop led by CA GS Grewal, a renowned figure in the field of accountancy. The resource person, Dr GS Grewal, was welcome by Principal AP Sharma. The workshop aimed to enhance the knowledge and understanding of Class XII accountancy curriculum. Dr Grewal shared insights on various topics, offering guidance to remove students’ doubts and strengthen basic concepts.
