LUDHIANA: Khalsa College for Women organised various event today.



Ludhiana, March 24

Khalsa College for Women organised various event today. A photography exhibition was held by the Department of Fine Arts. Janmeja Singh Johal, a freelance photographer was the chief guest.

Students showcased over 150 photographs on the theme related to nature. In arts exhibition, Chand Bhatia was the chief guest.

Students participated in various events, including still life, life study, portrait, pot decoration, ceramic work, cartooning, poster making and on the spot paintings .More than 500 works were exhibited .

Counselling Cell of Khalsa College for Women organised an intensive workshop on identifying young children with developmental disabilities.

Puja Kalra, a developmental therapist, apprised students of basic assessment followed by drafting individual education programme. She gave hands on training on various tools used for screening of such individuals.

Hindi and Sanskrit Departments in association with the Vivekananda Kendre Kanya kumara organised a one-day workshop on “Teaching Skills”. Around 20 participated in the event whose main objective was to inculcate teaching skills in students. TNS
