Mandi admn to start home delivery

To reduce the rush of people in market in the coming days, the district administration of Mandi has decided to start home delivery for essential items to public.

Today, a considerable rush was observed in Mandi town during the day, when the curfew was relaxed to allow people to purchase essential commodities.

Shopkeepers Ram Lal Sharma and Anil Kumar said many people were seen stocking food products for months, which may create scarcity of essential items for others.

Mandi DC Rugved Thakur said to reduce the rush of people in markets, the district administration has decided to provide essential commodities like ration and medicines to people at their doorstep.

He said arrangements had been made for the purpose. For home delivery of essential goods in Mandi town, people can contact on following numbers.
