Ludhiana, February 25

A meeting was called to discuss the construction roads at various focal points. The meeting was chaired by Gurpreet Gogi, Chairman of the PSIEC, here today.

President and office-bearers of the Industrial Associations attended the meeting and discussed the matter with the chairman.

Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, and Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU, appreciated the work for upgrade of focal point roads and infrastructure. He also thanked Sunder Sham Arora, Cabinet Minister, Industry & Commerce, for his efforts for the Ludhiana industry.

Points discussed in the meeting:

Total Rs 67 crore has been sanctioned for roads at focal points Phase-4A, 5, 6, 7, 8, and Rs 40 crore will be spend in this financial year and Rs 27 crore within the next financial year.

The concrete roads will be constructed in focal points.

The Punjab Government will provide all funds for the development of focal points.

Gates for beautification will also be constructed in focal points

The work of the focal point roads will be started within a week.
