New Delhi, February 3

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has released a list of 115 persons, those who have been lodged in the various Delhi jails for their alleged role in the January 26 Kisan Gantantra Parade that rocked the National Capital.

Kejriwal has also assured that his government will do everything to find the missing farmers who have not returned home and are missing after the tractor parade.

“The Delhi government has been approached by a lot of people regarding their missing family members who came for the Kisan Andolan.  They have not returned home and have not been found yet. They are still missing,” Delhi CM said on Wednesday.

“I can understand the trauma of those families who are missing their young and old. It is the responsibility of all the Governments to find the missing farmers and inform their families. We have come up with a list of those arrested and lodged in various jails in Delhi related to the January 26 incidents. Arrests and subsequent jail could be the reason why families are unable to locate those missing. We are releasing a list today. In total 115 persons are lodged in the jails,” he added.

The Delhi CM met few representatives of Sanyunkt Kisan Morcha, including Prem Singh Bhangu, Rajinder Singh, Deep Singh Wala, Inderjit Singh and Harpal Singh Mundal on Tuesday, who sought help regarding the missing farmers.

“So those missing their family members please have a look at this list. It may be helpful to know whether they have been arrested or not and if arrested where has he been put. I am hopeful that some of the missing may be located by this list,” Kejriwal said.

“We have already assured the Kisan Unions and I would like to extend the same assurance to the people of Delhi that if we find more people missing then we will put all our efforts in finding them. If need be we will approach the LG sahib (Anil Baijal) and even the Central Government,” he added.
