US President Donald Trump was given a ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhawan here on Tuesday.

Later, the two leaders will have wider discussions on various issues.

Trump had arrived in India on Monday and addressed the gathering at Motera stadium in Ahmedabad before visiting the Taj Mahal in Agra in the evening.

Trump's daughter Ivanka, son-in-law Jared Kushner and several top officials of the US administration were also present at the ceremony.

Later, Trump and Melania visited the Rajghat and paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi.
