Bathinda, October 14

A scribe of a vernacular daily has accused the Talwandi Sabo police of taking him and his brother into police custody and illegally beating them in a land dispute case with his neighbour.

The medical report shows that the victims have suffered injuries.

Talwandi Sabo SHO Maninder Singh, however, has refuted the allegation leveled against him by the journalist. — TNS
