Fazilka, January 20
The police have booked Gulab Singh and Gurpreet Singh, residents of Muthianwali village in Fazilka district, for allegedly excavating the sand in a clandestine manner.
The police also impounded a sand-laden tractor-trailer from near Karni Khera village, but could not arrest the accused. Further investigations were on. — TNS
