Sanskriti KMV School, Jalandhar

The investiture ceremony was organised with enthusiasm. Principal Rachna Monga designated the school Martinet team in a dedicated event. Roshini Kashyap and Suraj of Class XII were appointed as Head Girl and Head Boy, respectively. Samriti and Kawanveer Singh were appointed as Vice Head Girl and Vice Head Boy, respectively. Students appointed as House Captains and Vice Captains of Amber, Pawak, Pawan and Avni House were Pranav Sharma, Harleen Kaur, Swati Chawla, Gurleen Kaur, Kamaljeet Kaur, Manraj Kaur, Kajal and Nishtha. A team of 20 students was further nominated as students' Rapid Action Force from classes IX and X for strengthening upon the responsibility factor with quick decision making.


St Joseph's Sr Sec School, Chd

The school marked World Teachers' Day to raise awareness about the role of teachers in imparting holistic education at all levels and to improve the quality of teachers across the world. This day was marked under the theme "Teachers at the heart of education recovery." Teachers' knowledge creates possibilities for a better future for their students. In the secondary block, students expressed gratitude to their mentors through creative powerpoint presentations. These presentations depicted students' love, wishes and deep appreciation towards their gurus who during pandemics were well-equipped with digital and pedagogical skills to teach remotely, online and through hybrid learning, whether in high- low or no tech environments. Principal Monica Chawla appreciated the efforts put in by teachers and requested the teaching faculty to brace themselves and be ready to face the changing demands of learners.


Amity International School, Mohali

Students of Class III were involved in the wonderful experience of making a hands-on project on landforms during their virtual classes. They dug into clay, paints, sheets and used their imagination to create mountains, hills, deserts, waterfalls etc. Later, they delivered eloquent presentations and explained the landforms to their classmates. The activity helped them learn physical features of the Earth and also gave an understanding on the formation of different landforms due to the movement of tectonic plates in the Earth's crust.


Solitaire International School, Pkl

Students of the Kindergarten wing conducted a special assembly to mark the onset of nine-day long festival of navratras. The celebrations began with offering prayers to Goddess Navdurga. The significance of the festival was highlighted to toddlers with the use of impressive story narration. Students enthusiastically took part in shloka recital and mesmerised the audience by reciting shlokas extracted from Vedas. Young learners took keen interest in decorating pooja thalis with flowers.


MM International School, Ambala

Siddharth, a Class II student, participated in 1st Open National Yoga Championship and won the second position. The competition held in Rohtak was organised by the National Yogasna Sports Skills Association. Principal Dr Nisha Sharma congratulated Siddharth and his parents and wished for his bright future. She all urged other students to take part in such activities.
