National Science Day was celebrated in the school. During assembly, Kuldeep said February 28 is the day when the world famous Indian scientist CV Raman announced his discovery ‘Raman Effect’. He received the Nobel Prize in 1930 for this discovery. In honour of the great invention of CV Raman, the Union Government decided in 1986 that every year February 28 will be celebrated as National Science Day. Science teachers took students from classes I to VIII to laboratories and students were engaged in fun science experiments.
